Terms of use

Last updated 16 October 2026

The short version. Your organisation owns its content, and we use it only to run dAive for them. Keep your sign-in to yourself, and use dAive for work.

dAive's answers come from your organisation's own documents and always cite their source. Check the source before acting, and never let an answer override a safety procedure or a competent person's judgement.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to anyone who uses the dAive service or this website. dAive is provided by Pelle Tech Ltd ("we", "us"). We are registered in England and Wales, company number 16086811.

dAive is provided to organisations. If your organisation has signed an agreement with us, that agreement governs our relationship with your organisation and takes precedence over these terms wherever the two differ. These terms set out what applies to you as an individual user. By signing in to dAive you agree to them.

2. The service

dAive answers questions from your organisation's own documents and records, such as manuals, procedures and breakdown logs, and cites the source of every answer. dAive is in early access, so features will change and improve over time. We work to keep it available and secure. Unless your organisation's agreement promises a particular level of service, we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

3. Your account

4. Your organisation's content

Your organisation owns everything it loads into dAive, and the questions its people ask. It gives us permission to store and process that content only to provide, secure and support the service for it. We do not use it to train AI models, and neither do the AI providers we use.

Only load content that your organisation is entitled to use. Our privacy notice explains how personal data is handled.

5. Answers and safety

dAive's answers are generated by AI from your organisation's own content. They are designed to be accurate and to cite their source. dAive will tell you when your organisation's content does not cover a question rather than guess. Even so, an answer can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and is only ever as good as the documents behind it. In particular:

6. Acceptable use

Use dAive for your organisation's work. Don't:

7. Our intellectual property

dAive itself, including its software, design and branding, belongs to us or our licensors. Using the service does not transfer any ownership of it to you.

8. Feedback

Feedback on answers, such as a thumbs up or down or a comment, goes to your organisation's administrators to help them improve their documents. If you send us ideas about the product itself, we may use them to improve dAive without owing you anything for them.

9. Suspension and ending access

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if it is needed to protect the service, other customers or the public, or if your organisation's access to dAive ends. Where it is reasonable to, we will tell your organisation first. Your organisation can end your access at any time.

10. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

Our responsibilities to your organisation, and the limits on them, are set out in our agreement with your organisation. Subject to that, we are not liable to you as an individual user for loss arising from relying on an answer without checking its source and following your organisation's procedures, as section 5 requires, or for any indirect or consequential loss.

11. This website

The information on askdaive.ai is a general description of dAive and may change. It is not an offer, and nothing on it forms part of a contract unless it is written into one. You may share links to the site, but please don't copy its content or branding without our permission.

12. Changes, law and contact

We may update these terms as dAive develops. We will change the date at the top when we do, and tell organisations using dAive about any significant change before it takes effect.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
